TPMS
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
What is TPMS?
TPMS stands for Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, these are sensors that are inside your wheel that feeds information to your vehicle regarding the pressure stored inside each wheel.
How important is the TPMS sensors?
Very...not only do they provide you with your pressure readings while traveling, they reduce the risk of tyre failure due to early warnings and decreases the tyre wear from incorrect pressure stored, they also maintain the handling of your vehicle whilst keeping your fuel economical.
They are also fitted to pretty much every car that was manufactured after 2014, you will fail an MOT test if they become faulty or inoperative.
Things to look out for?
Keep an eye on your dash, if this shows up (your tyres pressure warning light)

Then your pressure has either increased or decreased. This happens depending on weather, a leak or a faulty TPMS sensor.
Make sure your tyre pressures are correct for the vehicle. If they are low, then top them up.
If they are correct an you are unsure what the issue may be then We recommend that you contact us and We can have a look for you.
Remember.. If the TPMS sensor is faulty then this will lead to an MOT failure
